ExSAR Corporation is a development stage company dedicated to identifying, developing and commercializing small molecule therapeutics for protein misfolding diseases. Protein misfolding is a prominent feature of a diverse number of diseases, examples of which include Tay-Sachs, Gaucher, Sandhoff, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. ExSAR utilizes its Hydrogen/Deuterium exchange platform technology (H/D-Ex) to screen lead compounds for the ability to prevent protein misfolding and restore protein function.

As a leader in the application of Hydrogen/Deuterium exchange technology, ExSAR provides H/D-Ex technology services to third parties. In this capacity, ExSAR offers epitope mapping services in support of monoclonal therapeutic antibody development. ExSAR also employs hydrogen/deuterium exchange to characterize proteins, including biogenerics and to identify ligand binding sites, typically in conjunction with fragment based drug discovery programs.
